How It Works - Crew Members

QuickCrew is an online production tool and directory for the New Zealand Film and Television industries. It allows crew to:

• Fill out and display their profile for production companies to view.
• Upload a photo of themselves, a CV and showreel for production companies to view.
• Fill out an online availability calendar so production companies can see if they're available.
• They can be pencil or firm booked.
• Receive their bookings by texts and emails.
• View the booking, who the key people on that project are and a description.
• Accept the booking by logging in and clicking a button.
• Email their profile and showreel through to someone.
• Keep a diary of their work online.
• Link to the crew in their team or assistants.
• List their equipment on an online calendar and link it through to crew who can operate it.
• Upload and share files and photos to other crew booked on a project.
• Receive online callsheets.
• Archive all your projects and bookings for you to access at any stage.
• Access industry news, buy / sells and vacancies.

Costs

• It's free to join and list yourself. No monthly or yearly charges.
• You pay for each day you're firm booked through the QuickCrew system. There's a $4.00 per day charge up to $48.00.
• You pay for each day you're equipment is firm booked through the QuickCrew system. There's a $4.00 per day charge up to $48.00.
• A showreel has a one off charge of $10.00.
• Pencil bookings are free.
• Repay the production company booking costs if you cancel a booking (1.50 per day up to $18).
• It's free if your contacted directly and not booked through the QuickCrew system.
